Paperless delivery, from the first order to the last signature
Paper is where deliveries leak. A docket gets wet, a signature is unreadable, a copy never makes it back to the office, and someone spends the afternoon matching notes to invoices. Runday replaces the paper with one digital record for every delivery.
What goes digital
- The order and the quote
- The approval decision: approve, hold or reject
- The dispatch to the driver
- The delivery note on the driver's phone
- The customer signature and photos at drop-off
- The stock count
- The record that goes to your accounts
Digital delivery notes that drivers can use anywhere
The driver sees each stop on the Runday driver view. It works offline, so a missing signal at the drop-off does not stop the job. The signed note is sent back when the phone reconnects.
Fewer disputes, faster billing
With a signature and photos saved against the order, you have a clear record of what was delivered and who accepted it. The audit log shows who changed what. Runday syncs with QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zoho Books. You can also export to CSV or invoice from Runday itself. You bill for what the customer signed for, without retyping.
Customers stay informed without phone calls
Once your WhatsApp Business number and email domain are connected, Runday sends customers automated updates when the order is confirmed, out for delivery and delivered.
Who goes paperless with Runday
Any business that delivers its own products with its own drivers: distributors, wholesalers, building supplies, water and gas, food and drink, and more. Runday works in any country, with your currency, time zone, tax codes and units of measure.
Getting started
Runday is set up with a wizard, no code. It covers your company details, logo and brand colours, your own labels for locations, drivers and vehicles, which modules are on or off, currency, time zone, tax codes, units of measure, your first location, and inviting users with roles. Your products then go into the product catalogue. Each client gets its own copy of Runday, with its own branding and its own address, such as yourcompany.rundayapp.com. Sign-in is by invite only, and the app installs on a phone like any other app.
Questions
What is a paperless delivery note?
It is a digital version of the paper docket. In Runday the driver opens it on the phone and the customer signs on screen, with photos added.
Is a digital signature on delivery as useful as paper?
A digital sign-off in Runday is saved against the order with photos and a full audit log, so it is easy to find and hard to lose. Check your local rules on signatures if you have specific legal needs.
What if the driver has no signal?
The driver view works offline and sends the record when the phone is back online.
