A proof of delivery app your drivers will actually use
A delivery is not done when the truck leaves. It is done when the customer signs. Runday records that moment on the driver's phone, with a signature and photos, and links it to the order it belongs to. No paper delivery notes to lose, scan or chase.
How proof of delivery works in Runday
- The order is approved and dispatched to a driver.
- The driver opens the stop in the Runday driver view on their phone.
- At the drop-off, the customer signs on screen and the driver takes photos of the goods.
- The signed record goes straight back to the office, against the right order.
Because the proof sits on the order, anyone in the office with the right role can find it in seconds. When a customer asks what was delivered and who received it, the answer is already there.
Works when the signal does not
Drivers do not always have coverage at the drop-off. The Runday driver view works offline. The driver captures the signature and photos as normal, and Runday sends them when the phone is back online. The driver does not have to wait or come back.
Electronic proof of delivery, tied to everything else
Many proof of delivery apps stop at the signature. Runday is a full delivery app, so the same record connects to the quote, the order, the dispatch, the stock count and the invoice. That means fewer gaps between what was ordered, what left the yard and what was signed for.
- Customer sign-off with signature and photos
- Audit log of who changed what, and when
- Roles and permissions so each person sees what they need
- Reports on deliveries and sign-offs
- Automated customer email and WhatsApp updates once your number and domain are connected
Who it is for
Runday is for any business that delivers its own products with its own drivers. That includes distributors, wholesalers, building supplies, water and gas delivery, food and drink distribution, and many others. If your drivers carry a clipboard today, Runday replaces it.
Your brand, your setup
Each client gets its own copy of Runday, with its own branding and its own address, such as yourcompany.rundayapp.com. Sign-in is by invite only, and the app installs on a phone like any other app. Runday is set up with a wizard, no code. It covers your company details, logo and brand colours, your own labels for locations, drivers and vehicles, which modules are on or off, currency, time zone, tax codes, units of measure, your first location, and inviting users with roles. Your products then go into the product catalogue.
From sign-off to invoice
Runday syncs with QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zoho Books. You can also export to CSV or invoice from Runday itself. The signed delivery is the trigger to bill, so you invoice for what the customer accepted.
